The CATE Centre advances the cause of transformational Christian education through a gracious, non-polemical support of those engaged in educational activities. This is accomplished through prayer, research, information sharing, publishing, mentoring, conferences, forums and other helpful activities.
Searches on the CATE site include material on the Transforming Teachers site because the material here helps teachers relate God's word and God's world in their classrooms--the very foundation of education that prepares people to flourish now and for eternity.
The activities of the CATE Centre are wider in scope than the focus of this website, but both Transforming Teachers and the CATE Centre work together to equip Christians in the God-given calling of education.
